From Cortez, CO to Amarillo, TX

After leaving Cortez, CO we stopped at Four Corners. We all got souveniers and pictures in all four states. The sun was shining, but the weather was still cold. We drove to Aztec, NM and walked around the Aztec Ruins. I highly recommend stopping to visit these ruins if you are ever nearby! We were able to make it to Albequerque, NM last night. When we got up this morning we grabbed a geocacache and went over to the temple. The temple is closed for maintenance, so we had the grounds mostly to ourselves except a few workers getting ready to lay carpet inside. It was so nice and quiet. Once again we were on the road. We finally made it to Amarillo, TX this evening. I have never see land so flat in my life. Texas puts Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas to shame for how flat it is! Tomorrow we are headed to Dallas. Brian wants to see Texas Stadium before it's torn down. It's so warm and we are having such a good trip!!
